Complete Home Inspection
HomePoint performs a complete inspection of the home using the International Association of Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) Standards of Practice. A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a residential property which is designed to identify defects within specific systems and components.
Home inspection reports are delivered the same day of the inspection.
Radon Testing
HomePoint uses the Airthings Corentium Pro continuous radon monitor. Corentium Pro samples indoor air through a passive diffusion chamber, using alpha spectrometry to precisely calculate the radon level. Radon testing typically requires a minimum of 3-days to complete. Radon report with recommendations for remediation is delivered within 24 hours of test completion.
Radon testing can be done independently or as an add-on to any complete home inspection if desired.
Air Quality Testing
An air quality test can be done to ensure the the health and safety of you and your family. Mold spores can be present in the air, potentially causing respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and other health problems, particularly in individuals with sensitivities or pre-existing conditions. Identifying the presence of mold through testing allows homeowners to take appropriate measures to mitigate mold growth.
Air quality testing can be done independently or as an add-on to any complete home inspection. Results are sent to a lab and can take 7-10 days to receive results.
Drone Inspection w/Thermal IR
We have the industry leading DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise Thermal drone.
Drones can provide a comprehensive view of the roof without the need for climbing ladders or physically accessing the roof which can damage roofing materials. Drones also offer a safer, quicker, and more accurate view of the roof.
Drone inspections are included with a complete home inspection (weather permitting).
